Prof. Martí Boada i Juncà

* The educational task of Martí Boada in the field of environmental education began in 1978, with the implementation of “Natura Can Lleonart ‘in the Montseny Natural Park (Catalonia), one of the first experiences in environmental education in Catalonia. In this time he worked on continued phenology records of flora and fauna, studies and records data. During his time as head of Can Lleonart , complementing the tasks of environmental education, various research records oriented to the knowledge of the environment, were achieved trophic relationships and etiological vertebrate populations and ecological data jobs. Twelve years later he became a professor and researcher at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Since then, he teaches in the degrees of: geography and environmental science and other postgraduate studies. He also joined as a researcher at the Center Studies Ambientals UAB , which later became the ICTA (Institute of Environmental Science and Technology ), where he works on projects focusing on the fields of global environmental change and biodiversity from a social perspective focused particularly in the urban system and forests.
